Order

On January 20, 2020, the Eleventh Civil Court of First Instance in Guatemala ruled on preliminary objections in the suit brought by Inversiones Empresariales, S.A. against Lisa, S.A. It denied the objections of incompetence, lack of standing of the plaintiff, failure of condition, and failure of term; but it sustained Lisa, S.A.’s defective-complaint objection. As a consequence, the court rejected the ordinary complaint for processing and imposed no costs.
