Order: Rejects dividend prescription suit by Inversiones Empresariales

On January 20, 2020, the Eleventh Civil Court of First Instance in Guatemala ruled on the preliminary objections presented by Lisa, S.A. in the dividend prescription lawsuit brought by Inversiones Empresariales, S.A. The court found no grounds for the defenses and formally declared them without merit. Specifically, it rejected the objections of incompetence, lack of standing, defective complaint, failure to fulfill a condition precedent, and failure to comply with a term.
