Order: Court admitted BDT as co-party in Reproductores case

On March 20, 2024, the Twelfth Civil Court of First Instance in Guatemala admitted BDT Investments Inc. as a third-party co-litigant in support of Lisa, S.A., in a summary case initiated by Reproductores Avícolas, S.A. The court accepted the procedural standing of BDT based on documentation submitted by its Special Judicial Representative, Rossana Mishelle Ramírez Paredes, and recognized her authority to act on BDT’s behalf.

BDT was admitted as a co-party without altering the procedural status of the defendant Lisa, S.A. The court also formally accepted the evidentiary materials submitted by BDT. This order set the foundation for subsequent challenges from Reproductores, all of which were later denied. The admission reflects BDT's asserted rights over dividends originally linked to Lisa, S.A.
