Cassation: Avícola Villalobos pursues meritless claim

On November 20, 2024, Avícola Villalobos, S.A. filed a cassation appeal before the Civil Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice against the May 7, 2024 appellate ruling that confirmed the dismissal of its damages lawsuit against Lisa, S.A. Both the first-instance court and the appellate court determined that Avícola Villalobos failed to prove any legal or factual basis for its claims, rejecting them in full.

Despite these clear rulings, Avícola Villalobos seeks to reopen the case by reasserting allegations already reviewed and rejected by the courts. The cassation does not introduce new evidence or legal grounds, but rather attempts to prolong litigation and exert pressure through a meritless claim.
