Order 283: Court admitted Lisa’s claim for Villamorey’s accounts

On February 25, 2021, the Fourth Civil Circuit Court of the First Judicial Circuit of Panama issued Auto No. 283, formally admitting the summary claim for an accounting filed by Lisa, S.A. against Villamorey, S.A. The court recognized the legal standing of both parties, based on public registry certifications and notarized founding documents provided by Lisa, S.A. The judge noted that Lisa's request aligns with the statutory obligations of Villamorey to render accounts to shareholders.

The court granted Villamorey, S.A. a one-month deadline to render the requested account, effective upon notification of the resolution. The legal foundation for this order is based on Articles 1379 and 1380 of Panama’s Judicial Code.
