Overview
On May 10, 2023, Lisa, S.A. filed a supporting criminal complaint against Villamorey, S.A., its legal representative Ramiro López Nimatúj, and its law firm Galindo, Arias y López. Lisa alleges that these parties engaged in unlawful intimidation tactics by presenting a coadjutant complaint against Judge Solange Le Ferrec Malek de Booker, who was presiding over a civil case in which Lisa sought a judicial accounting from Villamorey (Exp. 14606-21). Within 24 hours of that complaint being submitted, the judge reversed a previously issued embargo order, raising concerns of undue influence and psychological coercion.
The complaint argues that Villamorey’s actions constitute crimes against public officials and the administration of justice, including psychological intimidation to obstruct the judge’s duties. Lisa also claims financial harm of approximately $44.5 million due to continued attempts by Villamorey to undermine the judicial process. The filing requests that prosecutors formally charge the defendants, secure documentary and testimonial evidence, and pursue civil compensation for damages and expenses.
