Official Notice 2138-23

On August 24, 2023, the Eleventh Civil Court issued Official Notice No. 2138-23 responding to a request from the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office regarding Case No. 556-99 and its related sequestration measure No. 7081-08. The court confirmed that Juan Luis Bosch Gutiérrez was indeed appointed judicial depositary in the civil action brought by Lisa, S.A. against Villamorey, S.A., and directed prosecutors to authenticated copies in the file where the designation appears.

The Court also certified that Bosch never submitted any depositary reports, despite being legally required to do so, and that no request to remove him from the position was filed by the plaintiff within that process. These findings directly support the ongoing criminal investigation into alleged misappropriation of dividends and misuse of judicial depositary authority.
