Notice: Prosecutor confirmed location request for GALA was sent

On March 21, 2025, the Anticorruption Prosecutor’s Office confirmed that a formal request was sent to Panama’s Judicial Investigation Directorate (DIJ) to determine the legal address of Galindo, Arias & López (GALA), resident agent of Villamorey, S.A. The confirmation was issued in response to a written request by attorney Kevin Moncada Luna, representing Lisa, S.A., in connection with Case No. 202300033850. GALA is a key figure in the ongoing investigation into the concealment of judicially retained dividends.

The Prosecutor noted that the location request was submitted to the DIJ on February 25, 2025, and the Public Ministry is now awaiting an official response. This step follows repeated difficulties in serving notices on Villamorey and its agents, and seeks to enforce orders for the production of financial records. The notice was signed by Deputy Prosecutor Mileyra Espinosa Vargas and formally communicated to Lisa’s legal team as part of the broader asset recovery and enforcement efforts.
