Official Notice 28

On January 3, 2025, the Twelfth Civil Court issued Official Notice No. 28 informing Villamorey, S.A. that the attachment imposed on December 12, 2012 under Order No. 1838 had been formally lifted. The court referenced the September 30, 2024 ruling of the Fourth Superior Tribunal, which confirmed Order No. 898 of April 12, 2022, approving the settlement entered between BDT Investments Inc. and Lisa, S.A. With the settlement now fully validated on appeal, the basis for maintaining the attachment no longer existed.

The notice specifies that the lifted attachment covered funds that Villamorey, S.A. is required to deliver to Lisa, S.A. from accounts held at GTC Bank Inc., up to $19,184,680.00. By issuing this instruction, the Twelfth Civil Court directed Villamorey, S.A. to make the corresponding legal annotations and proceed in accordance with the termination of the 2012 attachment, aligning its records with the now-final judicial approval of the parties’ settlement.
