Order 336

On February 23, 2026, the Second Civil Circuit Liquidation Court of the First Judicial Circuit of Panama issued Order No. 336 admitting the corrected oral complaint filed by BDT Investments Inc. against Villamorey, S.A. The court confirmed that the correction complied with the requirements previously ordered in Order No. 2268 of September 12, 2025 and satisfied the procedural conditions established in Articles 665 and 686 of the Judicial Code.

The court therefore ordered that the complaint be served on Villamorey, granting the company ten days to submit its response. It also warned that failure to respond may be considered an adverse indication and that the proceedings would continue before the court. The decision further notified the parties that the dispute qualifies for mediation before the Judicial Branch Mediation Center and formally recognized attorney María Luisa Villarreal Palacios as counsel for the plaintiff.
