Official Notice: Court warned Villamorey of edict-based notice

On July 9, 2024, the First Civil Circuit Court of Panama issued a formal warning to Ramiro López Nimatuj, legal representative of Villamorey, S.A., in connection with the damages lawsuit filed by Lisa, S.A. The court notified him that attempts to personally deliver a court resolution to Villamorey’s office had failed, as certified by the court officer.

In accordance with Article 1017 of the Panamanian Judicial Code, the court granted Villamorey, S.A. a period of three (3) days to appear and receive notification of the court order. If the company does not appear within the given timeframe, it will be officially notified by edict, and Villamorey will bear the costs of such publication.
