The First Circuit Civil Court of Panama amends the admissibility order to add Juan Luis Bosch Gutiérrez as a personal defendant in Lisa, S.A.'s damages claim.

Addition of Defendant

At the request of attorney María Luisa Villarreal Palacios, acting on behalf of Lisa, S.A., the Court corrected its admissibility order (Order 966-2024), which had admitted the ordinary damages action Exp. 8853-24 only against Villamorey, S.A., even though the complaint had also been filed against Juan Luis Bosch Gutiérrez personally. Relying on Article 999 of the Judicial Code, which authorizes a judge to amend rulings at any time, the Court formally included Bosch, identified as a Guatemalan male bearing identity document No. A-1 424075, as a personal defendant and granted him ten days to answer the complaint. All other provisions of the original order remain unchanged.
