By Order No. 1217/EJE-8853-24 dated May 8, 2024, the First Circuit Civil Court of the First Judicial Circuit of Panama amended the order that had admitted the case on April 12, 2024 () to add Juan Luis Bosch Gutiérrez as a personal defendant in the ordinary damages action filed by Lisa, S.A. The correction remedied an omission in the original order, which had admitted the claim only against Villamorey, S.A., and granted Bosch ten days to respond.

Analysis

Addition of Defendant

At the request of attorney María Luisa Villarreal Palacios, acting on behalf of Lisa, S.A., the Court corrected its admissibility order (), which had admitted the ordinary damages action only against Villamorey, S.A., even though the complaint had also been filed against Juan Luis Bosch Gutiérrez personally. All other provisions of the original order remain unchanged.
