Addition of Defendant

At the request of attorney María Luisa Villarreal Palacios, acting on behalf of Lisa, S.A., the Court corrected its admissibility order (<doc id="pty-8853-24-2024-04-12-a" />), which had admitted the ordinary damages action <law id="pty-8853-24" /> only against Villamorey, S.A., even though the complaint had also been filed against Juan Luis Bosch Gutiérrez personally. Relying on Article 999 of the Judicial Code, which authorizes a judge to amend rulings at any time, the Court formally included Bosch, identified as a Guatemalan male bearing identity document No. A-1 424075, as a personal defendant and granted him ten days to answer the complaint. All other provisions of the original order remain unchanged.

Ruling

• The <doc id="pty-8853-24-2024-04-12-a" /> is amended to include Juan Luis Bosch Gutiérrez as a personal defendant
• Bosch is granted ten days to answer the complaint
• All other provisions of the original order remain in effect
